Zach Grann is a singer-songwriter, pianist, and vocalist who has studied piano since 2010 and has been performing live for more than a decade. He graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2026 with a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, with additional study in music education, music therapy, business, and production.

His songs lean on storytelling: folk-influenced chords and melodies carrying personal lyrics, and sometimes stories drawn from history, as in “Lost Souls of Wager Island” At Berklee, he interviewed Jason Isbell, Sam Hollander, and Aaron Lee Tasjan for a project on why storytelling matters in the music industry.

Before Berklee, Zach trained in the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s Advanced Songwriting Program, the SUNY Purchase Pre-College Songwriting Program, and Lagond Music School’s College Prep Program. In 2025 he completed NYU’s Nordoff-Robbins Summer Program in Music Therapy.

Alongside performing, Zach has spent five years teaching music to children, from private piano lessons to directing a summer camp’s music program. He founded Dyslexic Hearts Club, a songwriting program in Boston and Los Angeles that builds confidence and community for people with dyslexia.

Zach is now based in Los Angeles, where he is writing, teaching and performing.
